Before we start juggling with GUI changes, we need to know where we want to go. Here's a set of things GNU Solfege users might benefit from.
- Teachers should be able to assemble their own exercise sets from existing exercises. Done. Teachers can create their own learning tree, and the user can select which learning tree to use from the File menu. Need to document how to set this up, though.
- Advanced students should be able to reach every exercise from within the default setup. Done. Except from some old junk, all exercises are available in the default learning tree.
- Beginners should be able to easily use a sensible set of exercises for their needs, without the need for a teacher.
- Creating exercises and adding them to GNU Solfege should be as easy as possible.
- Remove the difference between lesson files and 'python module exercises' for the novise user. Done.
